After the rising tensions in the west Bank, worshippers at Al Aqsa were attacked with soldiers opening fires with rubber bullets and stun grenades on worshippers. This has left over 163 people injured and been taken to Al Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem. 

The hospital has reported that at least 9 people have lost their sight in either 1 or both eyes due to rubber bullets wounds, 83 other people have been admitted  with other serious bullet wounds and an additional other 25 have been admitted for other serious injuries.
