Story
We are not shy of a challenge for a good cause here in F Social and we have hatched a plan to put ourselves through a not insignificant amount of hardship in order to raise money for a wonderful local charity called the Footsteps Foundation.
We plan to undertake a 24 hour 'Yeti' Challenge - slightly amended from the original, which only involves running - by running, rowing and cycling a certain distance every 4 hours for 24 hours on the 5th and 6th December.
A core group of boys and Mr San Jose (F Social's Housemaster) will either be:
- Running 5 miles every 4 hours (total distance 50km)
- Row 4k every 4 hours (total distance 25km)
- Cycling (static) 15k every 4 hours (total distance just under 100k)
All other boys will then support by taking part in one of the runs through the 24 hour period.
We will start the challenge at 4pm on the 5th December and run/row/cycle at 8pm, midnight, 4am, 8am and midday on the 6th December.
Any donations are hugely appreciated and we only seek a modest amount - we appreciate this has been a challenging time. It has been for many charities, who have not been able to raise funds through traditional channels, so every little helps.
Thank you in advance for your support.

Radley College already has connections with Footsteps by helping give music therapy and through fundraising concerts at Dorchester Abbey. The Footsteps Foundation is based in Dorchester-On-Thames and provides financial assistance to families in need of support, enabling children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders to access the Footsteps therapy programme.
