We Support men with depression to help create awareness & dismiss stigmas

Story

I will be doing one month of silence including absolutely no status updates or Twitter twits or tweets whatever they are called. No writing down what I want to say absolutely nothing for a whole month. Exceptions include speaking with work colleagues and management when absolutely necessary snd/or when it affects my health i.e. doctors and health professionals. So bare minimum. No messenger no WhatsApp. This is in support of the charity muted which helps men speak out about depression. Depression is a number one killer for young men and I want to help end the stigma.

I love talking and do it quite a lot ;)

I have been depressed in my past and when it got bad I stopped speaking completely, months of silence and that spoke louder than words. I want to spend a month in contemplative sponsored silence raising money to help as someone who has come out of the other side of the tunnel.

The month of silence will start in the 1st if August and end at midnight on 31st of August.

Peace, love and blessings. Xoxo
