Story

I work for The Pierhouse Hotel in Port Appin and we are raising money for The Appin Community Trust to repay the financial support and guidance that they have provided to Donna - one of the hotel's long term employees.

Donna has faced a series of serious health issues over the last couple of years including breast cancer, and she has now developed Lupus, a debilitating auto immune condition. As a result of her treatment Donna has rapidly developed cataracts in both her eyes and was facing losing her sight whilst waiting for treatment from the NHS. The Appin Community Trust has enabled Donna to already have one of her eyes treated and is due to have her second eye treated in September.

We would like to repay the kindness and consideration that the Trust has shown Donna by repaying the surgery costs, and then hopefully raising additional funds to allow them to support more members of the local community.

We would love it if you could help us to achieve this.
