Ark cancer Centre Charity is raising £5million towards a much-needed unique local cancer treatment centre that will be built in the Basingstoke area.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) will fund most of the centre, but the £5m being raised by Ark is crucial to ensuring that this beacon facility – which will serve the whole HHFT area – can provide vital supportive services and complementary therapies alongside radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment, all in a calm and uplifting environment.
Public support is crucial to the success of the fundraising appeal, which currently stands at £1.6m, so thank you to everyone who supports the charity.
