Story
Tragically we lost my Mum, Evelyn Brown, on 19th April 2020. Mum was admitted to ward 102 of ARI on 14th April and she was transferred to ICU in the early hours of 15th April.
Mum fought so hard to stay with us and the staff working with her supported her 100% in her fight. When it became clear that Mum’s body was becoming overwhelmed by a pulmonary embolism, covid 19 and a chest infection, those staff then supported her, and us, with the utmost care and attention. These staff were there for Mum at a time when we could not be, and we will be eternally grateful to them for their care, dedication and compassion.
During video calls I saw how hard these lovely people work, and the least they deserve is a pleasant outdoor space in which to enjoy their break, to reflect and to recharge. Please support us in raising money, in Mum’s name, to donate to this cause.
