Spinnaker Shocks · 27 September 2014 to 28 September 2014 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am completing the Stroke Association's Spinnaker Shocks 350ft abseil on Sat 27th September. Abseiling down the side of one of the South Coast's most famous buildings. The Spinnaker tower is taller than the London Eye, Blackpool Tower and even Big ben!

I work in the Private Client department of QualitySolicitors Large and Gibson. www.qualitysolicitors.com/largeandgibson

Part of my role is to assist individuals and families who are preparing for or coping with changes to how well members of the family are able to manage daily tasks and decisions, from running minor errands, like getting to the post office, to more major decisions, about investments, care or where to live.

The Stoke Association provide information and support for stroke patients, their families and carers. Stroke changes lives. Sufferers and their families need practical, emotional and financial advice and support.

I am hoping to raise at least £1.50 for every foot I abseil to donate to the Stroke Association and help them continue with their vital work.
