Story

After neck-down paralysis, Steven Dowd was offered hope by a Wings for Life funded experimental clinical research trial and began an unlikely paralysis-recovery journey. Today he is bringing together a diverse global commuinty to do something both challenging and impactful through indoor-rowing. The most ambitious of the charity challenges series, EnduRow Challenge is the World’s biggest, fully inclusive, live indoor-rowing event. We will see able-bodied and adapted men, women and kids row for 4 hours in teams or solo at the same time no matter where they are... Everyone. Everywhere. Pulling Together. Fundraising for spinal cord injury research. Wings for Life is a not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation. Their mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury. They fund world-class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at healing the injured spinal cord. EnduRow Challenge supports Wings for Life in achieving that goal.
