Story

30 years ago today we lost someone so very special to so many people. She was a mum, a wife, a sister, a cousin, a friend and most of all a kind and selfless person. The pain we all felt then was testament to her enormous contribution to our lives. The fact that rarely a day goes by that we don’t think of her is testament to the enormous love we still have for her.

To commemorate this anniversary and say a huge thanks to Wigan and Leigh Hospice, who cared for her in the final days of her life, we have decided to try to raise some money for them. We feel that this is vital because charities such as this have lost many of their donations at this time, and all of their shops have had to close.

We did consider running a marathon to raise money....then decided to stick to what we do best...beer!

As a thank you to the most generous donors, we will be sending a bottle of an exclusive Emperor's Brewery beer. Emperor's Broken Heart is a Damson & Coffee Imperial Stout (13.1%) and is presented in 750ml bottles. There are only 20 bottles in existence and 15 will be sent to the donors giving the largest single contributions.

This beer is a one off, and will never be brewed again.

Remember to check the "I'm happy to be contacted by Damian Doherty" box at the last stage of the donation process after you have clicked "Donate Now" so I can get in touch and arrange your bottle to be delivered.
