As part of Doncaster & Bassetlaw's very first Christmas fundraising campaign, they'll be lighting up their hospitals with beautiful star lights.

Emma loved Christmas lights and I know she will be so happy that she has one up on the hospital where we both loved to work and where our beautiful daughter Sophia was born.

For those that don't know, Emma passed away in August after a 5 year battle with bowel cancer. She worked at DBTH for over 11 years and had so many friends from all over the trust. She was the most incredible person I have ever met and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

During Emma's battle we had support from DBTH throughout and Emma and I were always grateful for the love and care she received. There are too many people/departments to name but they know who they are and I will forever be thankful for everything you have done for us.

It was only apt to sponsor of one of the stars and give back to the hospital that gave and meant so much to Emma.
