Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my Just Giving fundraising page.
I ran the Great Manchester 10K Race today, 16th May 2010 and all the hard work training really paid off. I completed the race in 1 hour and 33 seconds! It was a very successful day.
Events like the Great Manchester Run are an important way in which we can help St David’s Hospice raise money to care for adults living with cancer and terminal illness and cater for the individual’s special needs, be they physical, emotional or spiritual.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me - St David’s Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra amount in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you when you tick the Gift Aid box.
Another recent charity I have supported has been Cancer Research UK where I did the Race for Life on 11 May 2008. It went fantastic and I raised £265.
Prior to this I travelled to Ghana, West Africa in July 2006 for 3 months to work in orphanages with very basic facilities. In order to make my trip, I raised over £3,000 and I am very grateful to all the local companies, organisations, friends and family who sponsored me to make my trip possible.
Please feel free to view my photographs of these events.
So please sponsor me!
Many thanks for your brilliant support - together we can make a difference!
