On the 29^th May 2016 I will be running Edinburgh Marathon in aid of the Wooden Spoon organisation who are dedicated to helping disadvantaged and disabled children. As a keen runner for a number of years I decided it was time to push myself and enter a marathon all in the name of a good cause. As corporate sponsors of Wooden Spoon, JMDA Design are supporting me through the training process and raising money to support local projects in the Worcestershire area such as respite and medical treatment centre, sensory rooms, specialist playgrounds, sports activity areas and community based programmes. JMDA is made up of a team of designers, myself included, that develop products that ensure the health and well being of children. We therefore feel very close to the work that the Wooden Spoon carry out.
