Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the next 16 weeks I will be training for the London Marathon by completing 64 runs totalling 525 miles.
I am raising money for Sense. Sense is a national charity that supports and campaigns for children and adults who are deafblind. They work with children, young people, adults and older people with a progressive sight and hearing loss, offering a range of housing, educational and leisure opportunities. My target to raise is £1,500 so all donations welcome. How will your donations be spent?
£7.50 could pay for a toy to help a deafblind child explore new sensations.
£35 could help Sense to stay in touch with a deafblind family so they can help them to find out what they need to know.
£50 could help pay for one deafblind child and their family to attend a Sense family day. These special days out give a deafblind child a greater understanding of the world around them, expanding their horizons and providing new experiences.
£170 could pay for a visit from a Sense Children and Family Support Worker.
£1,084 could pay for a holistic assessment for a deafblind child.
