Story

On Sunday 23 April 2017, I have decided to attempt the London Marathon…..for those of you that have known me a long time I was the
girl that came last at every sports day, managed to skip PE and I fall over ALOT! Doing this will probably be one of the biggest achievements of my life!

I am running with a team of 18 runners from across Fidelity International and Eight Roads and we are all doing it in aid of the NSPCC.

The work that the NSPCC do is crucial, they are a saviour to children who are vulnerable or who have been subject to abuse. I didn’t realise that  Childline is also part of the NSPCC, and they take on average 3,000 calls per day from children needing support and it currently only has the resources to answer 3 out of 4 calls. The NSPCC’s work involves providing support to young adults, working closely with schools and counsellors and every donation allows them to continue the amazing work so that each and every child gets the childhood they deserve.

I’d be so grateful for any donation so that we can really make a difference.

When you donate feel free to submit a song so that I can add it to my marathon playlist….I expect each song to be LOUD, MOTIVATIONAL and
FAST, ultimately when I listen to it I can think of you and your donation so when I hit the walls along the way (there will be hundreds I am sure!) I will be reminded of why I decided to do such a crazy thing!

Thank you to all of you that donate ! XXX
