More about the crisis in Yemen :
Since the conflict in Yemen began, an average of six children have been killed or maimed every day. 80% of the country's population are in need of humanitarian aid. This includes 12 million children, three times the population of Ireland, at risk of starving to death or falling victim to brutal warfare.
Yemen now faces a crisis within a crisis as the outbreak of Covid-19 has crippled their already dilapidated health system. Lack of sanitation and overpopulated displacement camps accelerate the spread of Covid-19. Widespread malnutrition makes Covid-19 even deadlier. A lack of sufficient health services makes the virus almost impossible to survive. Oxfam are responding to this emergency by providing food vouchers, clean water, cash assistance and hygiene kits to the people of Yemen.
However, they simply do not have enough funding to reach every family in need. Donating today will help save someone's life. Thank you.
