Millions of children in the UK are born into child poverty, which impacts them in their early years but also harms their life chances for their entire lifespan. Baby Bank recycles used items like cots, prams and clothing, and raises money for non-reusable items like nappies and toiletries to help families going through challenges like mental health problems, homelessness, being refugees, fleeing domestic violence. 

As a paediatrician I know how much poverty impacts a child's physical and mental health, and development for the future. I have loved volunteering for this charity since living in Bristol. 

Tomorrow will be my 32nd birthday and I'd love to raise £368 for Baby Bank (to help each family costs roughly £46 so this would help 8 families!!) I only need 5 more people to donate £3.20 in order to reach this goal.
