For those of you who know me (Ellie) will know that in 2018 I volunteered at a school in Nakuru, Kenya, I spent 2 weeks at a school in the slums doing both teaching work and building work for the children and their facilities, I always said I’d be going back one day.

With the 2023 Rams In Kenya trip being 5 years since I went, the 10th trip DCCT have ran and after the rubbish year I had last year, I’ve signed up to go back… this time my mum (Terry) is joining me.

We are now on a mission, between now and when we go in May to raise as much money as possible for our trip, not only does the money we raise go to African Adventures and the schools we’re supporting,  a proportion of what we raise will be going to DCCT to support their projects, helping many people for many different reasons in Derby.
