Our daughter Ellen was with us for 7 months, she had the biggest laugh, loved raising her eyebrows and was pure sunshine. We call her the Queen of County Down.

We had six amazing months with Ellen until sadly she was diagnosed with Gaucher's type 2 an incurable and fatal metabolic condition. Ellen was brought home by angels at 7 months.

Her daddy and her uncle Dee Dee are running the Belfast Marathon on Sunday 30th April to raise money for Gaucher's type 2 research into gene therapy to provide a cure. Andrew her daddy is running the marathon with a 10kg weighted vest, the weight Ellen would have been now.
