Your local hospice offers a home from home for those who are living with a life limiting illness within Northern Warwickshire. We run a Day Hospice Service, Hospice at Home and Rapid Rapid Response Unit. We also offer a Lymphoedema Clinic and Family Support Services which are available for all.

Story

We are running the Hackney Half Marathon 2023 in memory of our incredible Dad, Steve Powell, who we sadly lost in February 2022.

We are fundraising for the Mary Ann Evans Hospice - a charity close to our hearts who provided Dad with treatment during the last few years of his life as a result of prostate cancer. Dad said when he was better and able to run again, he’d love to do a half marathon to raise money for the hospice.

In November 2021 Dad was diagnosed with a new different form of terminal cancer. In January 2022 he was moved to the Myton Hospice and sadly passed away on 8th February 2022.

Whilst Dad is no longer here to complete the half marathon - we are going to do it for him!

Any sponsors would mean the world to us, thank you!
