On behalf of Olivia and I we would like to thank you for donating to this charity. Thanks to your help, we raised more than our target of £4800 and reached an amazing total of £5600. We really could not be happier. Our experience in Iceland will be one that is unforgettable, and being able to donate such a great amount to the National Kidney Federation is wonderful. Thanks again.
My mum lost both of her Kidneys when she was 16 years old, and has had two transplants since.
Without charities such as The National Kidney Federation, we would not have been aware of the help that was and is available.
Olivia and I are trekking in Iceland in aid of this charity because it means so much to my family and to all those who are struggling with dialysis.
We feel it is important to constantly raise awareness, as it is so easy to forget or not know of the difficulties that come with kidney disease.
