Story

As my friends know, I normally leave the heroic fundraising treks to Scott and I am generally a wimp but I've decided to get out of my comfort zone. During the past few months, we have had two beautiful healthy grandchildren and we've also been working with a great charity that provides amazing support to young children who are not as lucky. These children face some tough challenges. Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity help under 5's with cerebral palsy and other motor learning impairments make the best possible start in life and give families the support and skills to continue their development at home. All of their amazing work is provided free of charge and they receive no Government funding. Every penny has to be raised. For this little charity, the pandemic has been devastating but in the words of their founder, they 'Keep smiling through'. I am it is fair to say, completely terrified of walking on fire so please lessen the pain by sponsoring me! Thanks!
