Hi my name is Elijah Gilmore and I am an life scout with Troop 422 in Fort Mill, SC. I have been in scouts since I was in the first grade and I have had fun in the program every single year. Scouting has taught me a lot of skills from making a fire to being able to save someone if they are drowning. The best part of being a boy scout is helping younger scouts reach their goals. It makes me happy when younger scouts are having a good time. 

Soon I will starting my eagle project so that I can advance to the eagle scout rank. For my eagle project I will be building a kayak rack for the Anne Spring Greenway. This project will help provide summer campers at the Greenway with with a place to store kayaks for the summer and also year around.  I would like to ask for your help in reaching my goal of $850. For this long journey I'd like to thank my family, scoutmasters, and everyone who as supported me throughout this journey.  Without you, I would not have made it this far.
