Story

My darling husband Tom signed us both up for the RideLondon ballot without telling me in a contrived attempt to get family clearance for yet another one of his sporting endeavours. In the end I got a place and he didn't and I was suddenly faced with the daunting task of riding 100 miles in a day. However, I'm never one to resist a challenge so one bike purchase and a few months of painful early wake ups on Saturday mornings later the big day is finally approaching.

I am looking to raise money for the Swaffham and Litcham Home Hospice which is an amazing little charity in my local town in Norfolk that makes a massive difference supporting local people who have a life-limiting or terminal illness and their families.  Whether it be accompanying people on hospital trips and making home visits to bereavement support and classes put on for terminal sufferers. My mother has been involved for more than 15 years, and these small charities make a huge difference to local communities and so I do hope you will help me in supporting their efforts to continue this tremendous work.
