Hello and thank you for looking at my Just Giving Page.

Very sadly back in October 2020 my wonderful daughter and her husband had to sadly say a painful goodbye to their much loved & very precious first baby Rory

Although he was only with my daughter and her husband for a very short time, his tiny presence made a massive impact on theirs & all of their family & friends lives.

Rory's life brought such happiness and joy to many.

Rory was due to have been born on or around the 17th of March 2021. We had hoped that these days would have naturally have been a time of great joy and hope, especially amid these current very dark & difficult times.

. To help to ease   this pain I have been walking & running each day since the 11th of January. I am hoping to arrive (virtually :) on the shores of Ireland on St Patrick's Day 2021 to remember my dear first Grandchild my very special little Grandson Rory.

Getting out  each day has already been an amazing help, knowing that by walking and running I am helping other children & their families by raising money for this wonderful Free Kicks Football Charity.

Free Kicks is the perfect choice to help us remember Rory with love and hope as it gives all children the much-needed opportunity to access this great sport and to simply have fun with football.

To bring you up to date so far I have managed to walk and run 214 km  having started nearly three weeks ago. I am using a virtual app and I am now virtually in wonderful Wales in near Brecon.
