We provide free ‘Homes from Home’ to keep families together

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In October 2014 our Baby Grandson was born at Colchester Hospital, he was very poorly and needed to be transferred to Addenbrookes. During this very difficult time it was important that my son could stay with his wife and sick baby.  Chestnut House provided excellent free accommodation and support to parents when they most needed it.

My Baby Grandson will be 1 year old on the 23rd October which is when I'm running the 5K for Chestnut House at Addenbrookes Rosie Hospital.

He is our little miracle. A very happy, special, cute little boy who we all love very much.

At 58 I have never run before so in preparation I am following the NHS Couch to 5k and I am determined to achieve this goal, our baby fought for his life, Nanny can do this.

Please support me to raise as much as we can for this excellent provision that is only kept going through donations and fund raising.
