At Efficient Portfolio, we hold the firm belief that we have a responsibility to help our community and the wider world. Each year we select a charity to support, and commit to raising funds through our events (Like our Golf Day) and donating 1% of our profit to our chosen cause. Our chosen charity for this year will be CARE International.

With so much global poverty, and potential poverty due to conflict and subsequent displacement, it felt right to choose a charity that has a world-wide reach and can help a huge range of people.

CARE International tackle the underlying causes of poverty and social injustice, in order to deliver lasting change in the lives of poor and vulnerable people. They save lives in emergencies – and help people and communities build back safer and stronger for the future.

CARE International also work with the poorest and most vulnerable communities, developing long-term solutions to the problem of poverty. They aim to help people to help themselves. Not only  that, they multiply impact by using what they’ve learned about fighting poverty to influence broader social change, and end the injustices and inequalities that keep people poor.
