In 2017 I suffered a life changing spinal cord injury which put an end to my professional rugby career. My life was flipped upside down but Restart reached out and provided reassurance and support that made a huge difference for me and my family from the outset.

Now as a trustee of the charity I see first hand the incredible work that Restart do behind the scenes supporting the players through the many mental and physical trials and tribulations that come with elite sport. A serious injury recently suffered by a player that was very similar to mine reminded me just how much of an impact they had on my life and has spurred me on to the next big challenge!

I'm joined by 5 other supporters of the charity to take on Europes most famous peak and a mountain i have been dreaming of climbing ever since i took my first step out of the wheelchair.
