Story
Ed was my soulmate He was complex, witty, charming, handsome, fiercely loyal, combative at times, gentle and kind. He had an incredible intellect. He didn’t suffer fools gladly. He was an excellent litigator and very rarely lost a case in his long career.
Ed also battled with alcoholism after a very painful divorce. He tried many times to overcome this and recently had been recovering for two and a half years before, sadly, drinking again. He had alway drunk because he was depressed, but this time, he was celebrating life. It was only a matter of 6 months before alcohol took its toll on his already scarred liver and having already battled with Covid for months, he tragically died of multiple organ failure on Monday 30th November 2020. He also leaves behind his two beloved children, sister and nephew.
I am struggling to come to terms with the loss of the love of my life. This fundraiser is not meant in any way to tarnish the memory of Ed. My only mission is to raise awareness of the cost of addiction and raise money for Change Grow Live, who were there for him and so many others struggling with addictions.
