Young Roots is an amazing charity working in London, and in partnership with community-based organisations in Lebanon and Nepal, to provide support and activities for young refugees and asylum seekers. Their mission is to improve the well-being and life chances of young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK and overseas.

I have had the pleasure of working with Young Roots on occasions over the last few years, and witnessed the great work they do. This year has been tough for everyone, but the abandoned children supported by Young Roots have felt it particularly hard.

All money raised will go towards improving the life chances of 11 – 25 year old refugees and asylum seekers in and around Brent and Croydon. They achieve this by running fun and educational activities, offering peer-led language learning, and providing one-to-one casework to support with asylum.
