Story

Paul Rose first visited what is now Zimbabwe in 1956, spending a year as a teacher at the school at St Augustine's, Penhalonga.  His experience clearly made a mark as he visited again a year or two later.  Then in September 1964, he and Judith took their young family with them as Paul took up the role of priest in charge at Christ the King in Daramombe.

After returning to the UK in 1967, Paul maintained a close interest in Zimbabwe, particularly through the work of TZABA which has continued to provide support for the Anglican dioceses in the region to carry out their work and ministry during many troubled years.

The photo shows Paul visiting Daramombe again in 2014.
