Story
Eddie Carden was a thoughtful and sensitive musician from an early age, playing the piano and cello at school and enjoying being part of his school orchestra and jazz club. He sang in church choirs where he learnt to play the organ and went on to sing with adult choirs before becoming a member of the Association of British Choral Directors and conducting the Chelmsford Male Voice Choir. We have set up this page in his memory so that other children can also learn to fill their lives with a joyful love of music as he did.
The Music For All Charity believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to play music. Making music changes lives. But not enough people are fortunate enough to have access to musical instruments or ways to help them to learn and discover. This is where the charity comes in to;
bring free of charge ‘Learn to Play’ experiences to people of all ages and backgrounds.
make grants available to address the musical needs of community music groups and educational organisations.
donate instruments and music tuition to individuals who need our help.
promote the life-changing benefits of music making.
