The Education for the Children Foundation have been successfully running some amazing online classes and workshops throughout this strange time when we are all at home.

As a final send off, they are organising a special 'open-mic' event - bringing musicians, artists and supporters from all over the world together!

July 25th : 12pm-2pm GT | 2-4pm NY | 7-9pm UK

Thanks to an amazing group of volunteers and participants in the month of June, EFTC successfully raised $1,835/£1,489 through the online zoom events. Thanks to the money raised, we were able to support our efforts to provide for EFTC families and students during such challenging times.

Some of these achievements are easily measurable - EFTC has distributed 2,140 needed bags of food to their families during the covid-19 shutdown (with more scheduled regularly throughout the shutdown) and have continued to provide psychological care, health care and medicine and education support through online and physical resources .. and all of this from a distance as Guatemalan remains on lock down. And some are less easily measured, such as the lasting impact of keeping all their staff employed, listening and supporting their students and families throughout the shutdown so EFTC and their students do not fall behind nor get lost during this unprecedented time.

These achievements certainly need to be celebrated - and we all need to let off steam with others! And that's exactly what this Open Mic is about!

There will be a number of sets from different talented artists from around the world for you all to enjoy together. Any donation goes a long way to helping reach the $1,000.00 goal! And you will receive the zoom link to enjoy this music from your own home.
