After one too many vinos over Christmas and New Year, Emma declared that she can tackle sobriety for a whole 6 months!

Before you ask, there is no bun in the oven (at least not to the best of our knowledge) and no, this isn’t a joke.

She was going to attempt this feat out of sheer curiosity, however after speaking with a few friends at New Year, they were adamant (after laughing hysterically) that if she went ahead with it, it would be worthy of sponsorship … clearly they know this would be harder for her than any marathon, mountain climb or Atlantic jaunt.

For Emma it’s going to require the mindset of Himalayan monk if she has any chance of reaching the 2nd July (she started the 2nd Jan! Lol), however if you are keen to show your support then all donations to The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust would be most welcome.

The charity helps hundreds of young people (aged between 8-24yrs) every year, by organising trips to help them to regain their confidence while recovering from cancer, leukaemia or other serious illnesses. It is a charity very close to our hearts.

Her husband, family, friends, and work colleagues will be keeping a watchful eye…so there won’t be any cheating!
