I am going to have my hair cut very short and all my lovely Shirley Temple blond curls will go. Since the Covid lockdown, and like so many other people, I had to let my hair grow. When the time came for me to get it cut I thought I could use this opportunity for something else rather than having my hair drop all over my hairdressers floor. 

As a member of Ellon Baptist Church and a keen supporter of our new building project I thought I could do something to help raise much needed funds. Over the last two years we have all witnessed the impact Covid has had on our community and our lives. With lockdown a lot of us have suffered due to a loss of contact with friends, neighbours and family. I hope that having a new purpose build modern facility in the centre of Ellon will help to enrich the community in so many ways by providing a warm, welcoming space for people to meet, chat and make new friends.

So how does my hair come into this? I have waited until my hair was long enough to be used for another great cause. I am donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust and they will turn it into a beautiful wig. By supporting me you will be helping Ellon Baptist Church and the Little Princess Trust.
