Thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page! I’m fundraising to support this year's CEO Sleepout in aid of the amazing work done by the Cardinal Hume Centre. It would be great if you could donate and share my page so I can raise as much as possible to help the Centre continue its important work helping young people and families overcome homelessness in London. On 12 October I will be ‘sleeping out’ overnight at the Kia Oval with the hope that this will help raise extra funds for the Cardinal Hume Centre and its work in tackling poverty and homelessness. 

Last year over 1,700 people visited the Centre for advice and support. Some were sleeping rough, others were living in hostels or on someone’s floor while still others were facing the risk of being evicted.

The Cardinal Hume Centre wants to bring home the key message that poverty and homelessness should not exist in our country today and want to raise funds to support those people who find themselves on the edge through no fault of their own.

Of course sleeping out for this one night does not compare to the reality that many people are facing day in and day out, but I hope it will be a small act of solidarity.
