Hello, Dylan's Mum here. Over the past 2 years Dylan has grown his beautiful hair out long but he has now decided it's time for a change and would like to have his golden curly locks all chopped off! 

I asked Dylan if he would like to raise money for a charity for doing this and if so, what is most important to him? He thought about this and replied "I would like to raise money for the enivorment or for animals". After doing some research Dylan decided he would like to raise money for Wood Green, The Animals Charity. He will also be donating his hair to The Little Princess Trust.

Here is a quote from Dylan himself and the reason why this charity is important to him.

“I want to raise money to donate to Wood Green, The Animals Charity, because they help many poorly animals get well and to have a better chance at life. It makes me very sad that so many animals are discarded like rubbish and left to die. All animals should have a home and a loving carer.”

Dylan is such a caring and sensitive soul, however this is not only emotionally, he is also extremely sensitive to the touch. This is one of the main reasons why he has grown his hair out long. He has never found going to the Hairdressers an easy experience - sharp scissors, buzzing clippers and a stranger brushing at his hair often oblivious to the pain it is causing him. I just wanted to emphasise how this is such a big thing for Dylan, not only will it be a big change having his hair going from very long to short, but he is facing his own fears. 

I am very proud of what he is doing and any donations would be greatly appreciated by Dylan and Wood Green, The Animals Charity. And not to mention his hair being donated to The Little Princess Trust.
