Trip to Rwanda for CWB Spring 2013 · 6 March 2013

We raise awareness of AIDS through cricket to strengthen communities and fight disease

Story

I am joining Cricket Without Boundaries for its project in Rwanda.

I will play a full part in the trip; coaching children in schools and orphanages, training new coaches and delivering vital HIV/AIDS awareness messages.

I am volunteering as part of CWB's ongoing relationship with The Belvoir Trust – a cricket charity of which I am patron.

I am looking for sponsors for my trip, and would like to ask if you would consider supporting me in this project.

ANY FUNDS I CAN RAISE WILL ALL GO STRAIGHT TO THE CHARITY AS I AM PAYING ALL EXPENSES

About the charity

Cricket Without Boundaries is dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through the spread and growth of cricket. Crucially, CWB also uses cricket as a tool in the fight against AIDS. CWB’s training sessions have at their heart discussion about the disease in terms of prevention, treatment and equality of treatment for those with and without the disease.
