When my Crossfit Gym shared they were walking up Snowdon on the 26th June, I realised I could not do this without this being in honour of our beautiful friend, Cerys Akarca. 

Cerys had a very rare type of adrenal gland Cancer and after a long and valiant battle sadly gained her angel wings on the 5th November 2020. 

Cerys will forever be in our hearts as will her beautiful family. 

I will be raising money for AMEND. AMEND is a charity which does so much for those suffering with rare types of Cancer,  being a vital service for patients and their families by sharing information and providing much needed support. Whilst also assisting much needed research into these rare types of cancers and supporting medical teams to recognise and identify symptoms early.
