Story
My nephew was a kind, loving and caring young man.
He lost his battle with Systemic Lupus this past week.
Our family is heartbroken. A private (by invitation only) service will take place.
In memory of my wonderful nephew, I am fundraising in support of Lupus Canada to help make a difference in the lives of other Canadians impacted by this debilitating disease.
My nephew is in a better place now. No more needles, no more hospitals, no more debilitating pain. I will miss him dearly but I know his life had a purpose.
My dream is that one day there be a cure for Lupus, so that nobody else loses a loved one to this disease and so that people stop suffering.
On that note, I have been an advocate for people to think of others during this pandemic. Lets be kind to one another, and during this craziness of Covid-19, please wear a mask. Lupus affects 1 in 1000 Canadians. People with Lupus are immunocompromised, yet you wouldn't know it.
Please, please, please think of others. Wear a mask.

"The family chain is broken now and nothing seems the same,
But as God takes us one by one,
The chain will link again".
I will Love You Forever + a Day ❤️
