Story

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this year Galway sea swimmer Louise Griffin has launched the 'Swim in Pink' event that will see people all over the country dipping in rivers, lakes and seas.  They're raising funds to support the National Breast Cancer Research Institute, a national charity that funds a comprehensive research programme at the Lambe Institute, National University of Ireland, Galway.

Disco Dippers came together during lockdown on the beach in Bray, Co. Wicklow. We love the sea, the swims and the chats over a hot cup of tea - and we're delighted to swim this Halloween to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
