Help CACT support the most vulnerable children and young people in Greenwich this summer.

Most of the funds are committed, but CACT needs to raise the last £10,000 to fund the summer camps. Each child or young person will attend the summer camp for a week, receiving  3 meals and taking part in a range of fun activities.

Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT)is looking for help to make this a summer to remember for some of the most disadvantaged children and young people in the local area. After a difficult few months for children who have missed school and not been able to mix with friends, CACT has teamed up with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Charlton Athletic Football Club to run week-long summer camps to provide educational and sports activities, fun with friends and nutritious meals for children and young people eligible for free school meals. CACT caught up with one young person from Greenwich about the challenges she faced during lockdown. She said,

"I dont have a garden. In my house there hasnt really been fresh air, its hot. Everyone's at home. Everyone's stressed. Everyone's arguing. Everyone's annoyed."
