Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Covid arrived, we were all locked down, my Avon got temporarily shelved and I was now a full time home school teacher (chef, cleaner, counsellor etc, etc). Before lockdown I had my first quilting project all planned, but then thought I could maybe use these beautiful fabrics for a better purpose and so started making face coverings for my family and friends (Thanks Caz & Joan!). I was then asked if I would make some for others, so I have decided to try and raise some funds in the process for a local charity, Strathcarron Hospice, which provides a necessary service for my local community and has helped my family before.
I am now setting myself a target of 500 face coverings for others and suggesting a minimum donation of £3 per face covering.
I'd also like to mention the kindness of Alan and Jayne, who have helped by 'sponsoring' my fabric buying bug, and also the kindness of Andy Craig, who has supplied me with much electrical wire for my nose bridges!

Please all keep well, stay safe and remember to wash those hands.
