Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is my second crochet for...charity page.  My previous was for Teenage Cancer Trust and I managed to raise a fabulous £700 for them by creating crochet characters on request - Crochet for Cancer.

I continue this now: Crochet for Kabuki UK.  I have 2 close relatives who have recently been diagnosed with Kabuki syndrome which is a rare condition not many people know about.  They are currently learning what this will mean to them and what effects or difficulties it may cause throughout their lives.  Raising awareness is a big part of this, as well as contributing to research to find a cure.

You can either donate direct and write a message requesting a character, or you can pass money to me and I'll donate on your behalf.  I ask you you leave a little comment if I have made you something so others know what has been created.  Some are custom makes, and some are famous characters as you will see in my photos.  I will add to these as I go.  Please let me know what you want me to make and I will try my best to oblige.  I still have a long list to create but I am catching up...

Thank you for your help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
