Story
Women and children being sex trafficked in and out of the UK, men, women and children being sold into and kept in slavery for years and perpetrators being allowed to wonder around freely to commit more crimes. I took a standing against all of this when I first heard about the work of the charity, Justice and Care. I was so moved that I took action the same day to begin to support them financially and by helping them to raise their profile. I am now an Ambassador for the charity.
My team and I will be undertaking more events and challenges, to raise funds and importantly awareness.
Amongst the many things I have done to raise money for the charity, for the 3rd time, my team and I will be climbing Snowdon, the tallest mountain in Wales. There will be other events, about which we will keep you updated. Most notably in 2024 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
Here is why I'm asking you to dig deep to support Justice and Care:
Justice and Care rescue and restore the lives of women and children who have been trafficked and in turn brutally exploited. We fight slavery by pursuing and dismantling criminal networks, bringing those responsible to justice. We seek to make safe at risk communities that traffickers target and spark systemic change.
Set up in 2009, our vision is that every captive is free, and every perpetrator brought to justice. Our mission is by bringing together specialists and police, we work to prevent slavery, to rescue and care for victims.
