It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Dennis Howard Parkinson, on Sunday 28th May.

Dennis was a much loved husband, father, brother, grandfather & uncle and will be deeply missed.

We are heartbroken to have lost the patriarch of our family 💔.

In remembrance and in honour of Dennis, and as an expression of sympathy, we are warmly welcoming donations to the charity ‘Pets as Therapy’ in lieu of flowers.

We have been overwhelmed to witness first hand the impact that regular visits from Winnie, an NHS therapy dog, had on Dennis’ mental well-being throughout his time in Manchester Royal Infirmary, offering much needed calm, comfort and hope.

Dad told Winnie, “I wish you knew how much of a difference you have made to me.”🐾

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love & support we have received during this difficult time. Your kind words, prayers and gestures have been a source of comfort for us.
