In aid of Grove House Hospice, St. Albans, our team of 16 will endeavour to complete the Herts 10k Challenge around the grounds of Rothamsted Research, Harpenden and the surrounding area on the 12th October 2014. 

The Deloitte 10k dream team includes: Heather Bygrave, Craig Wisdom, Richard Blackwell, James Brass, Ryan Gawley, Nadrie Henning, Manish Patel, Adam Sanders, Rebecca Shepherd, Alan Chan Wan Fong, Julia Kratke, Cheng Hua, Victor Nicolau-Garcia, Yolanda Falder, Paul Tunney and Carmel Woodbridge.

All proceeds will go to support the work of Grove House, our office charity. 

Each year the charity needs to raise more than £6 million to meet the increased demand for its services- all of which continue to be offered to patients and their families completely free of charge.

Reaching our fundraising target will enable 10 nurses shifts to be funded or the purchase of vital specialist equipment, such as a 'syringe driver'; a piece of specialist medical equipment used by the Hospice at Home nurses to help make patients’ final days more comfortable. They are a vital part of giving terminally-ill patients the choice to be cared for at home, if that is their wish.
