Our Story

In January this year Delamore was challenged to compete in the Grand East Anglia Run (GEAR) 10k run on the 5th May 2013 with the aim of raising funds for a good cause. 

We asked one of our employees who was suffering with a terminal form of pancreatic cancer to pick a charity for us. After speaking with her family, Netty picked the 'Palliative Care CNS Fund’, which is a department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn and is linked with Macmillan Nursing care.

It is with great sadness that Netty passed away in late January at the age of 50, after suffering for a relatively short period. Netty was a much loved and respected colleague of ours. As a result of her families loss we are even more determined to raise as much money as we can for Netty’s chosen charity as we promised we would. We have signed up 40 colleagues so far including all Directors. We will keep you updated with the team’s progress!
