Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This will/might be our last year hoping to raise money with our Christmas light display.

Throughout November, whilst most of us are rushing home after a busy day, turning up the heating and cosying up on the sofa, my Husband can be found soaking wet through, freezing cold, up a ladder, in the trees, or on his hands and knees outside in the garden.

He spends hours turning our garden into a magical winter wonderland that lights up the whole street. He loves to see the look on people's faces (young and old) when they drive down the street and see his amazing Christmas lights.

The charity we have chosen is the York Special Care Baby Unit.

The charity was chosen because Dee has two little faces who watch his every move this time of year from their window, waiting for the night of his 'switch on' so they can come over and leave some magic reindeer food in the garden. These are our neighbour's two young girls and are Dee's number one fans, at this time of year - the charity is very special and important for them all too.

Following another difficult year we hope we can bring a bit of cheer to the festive period and raise a few pennies for a very worthy cause at the same time.

Thank you

Christine and Dee Moore
