Story
Hello, we are part of a fan community that supports singer and songwriter DECLAN GALBRAITH
Years ago he expressed the desire that his fans would donate money to charity instead of sending him gifts, and we thought that would be the pefect present for his coming 22nd birthday on December 19th!
Let's make it a special day for Declan AND children in need!
Last year we managed to gather £342.70 so Declan was able to donate a life changing gift of fixing a village's water source which will bring clean, drinkable water a safe distance from home for people living in Senegal. LET'S BEAT LAST YEAR RECORD, and get a ROOF FOR A CLINIC.
Remember what Declan said in 2009: "I would prefer you donate to a charity... And to those that did so, thank you very much. It makes sense and is a great benefit to those who are really in need."
At the time a particular charity was mentioned:
World Vision Must Have Gifts are an ideal way to celebrate friends, family and special occasions, sharing the joy with some of the world’s poorest children. This kind of charity giving means that you are directly helping the community, individuals and children who receive your gifts. Every one of their Must Have Gifts is a real item that has been specifically requested by the communities they work with to create a brighter future for their children.
World Vision will receive the donations and Declan will be able to choose how he would like the money to be allocated.
