As you are aware, our lovely Gayle Price passed away on 10 March 2021, having fought a courageous series of battles against breast cancer. We all believed that Gayle was safely shielding at home, having been declared cancer free, but sadly this proved not to be correct.  Without warning, the cancer returned, spread and took our beloved Gayle suddenly and unexpectedly from us on 10 March 2021, aged just 51 years. 

Gayle's cancer journey brought her to WBUH for appointments, and we were always struck by how lovely, bright and sunny the facility is - just like Gayle herself. Gayle felt at ease and happy during her time at the unit.

Gayle was not aware of how gravely ill she was, so she did not have the opportunity to express her own wishes about fundraising in her memory.  However, we, Gayle's family, are absolutely positive that she would have chosen this incredible facility to benefit from any money that you would like to donate in her name.
